Primal Cheesecake

Paleo Cheesecake
  • 3 pitted dates
  • 2 tbs soft butter
  • 1½ cup pecans
  • ½ cup almond flour
  • pinch of salt
  • ½ tsp vanilla
Filling (double or triple all ingredients below to make a thicker pie):
  • 1 8 oz. pack cream cheese
  • ½ tsp vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • ½ tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbs honey
  1. Combine all crust ingredients
  2. Grease a 9 inch pan with coconut oil and pour mixture
  3. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, until fragrant and beginning to brown
Cheesecake Filling:
  1. Combine all ingredients and pour over the crust
  2. Bake for 25 min at 350°F
  3. Chill before serving

    Is it possible to use something else than the cream cheese? We don’t have cream cheese in Germany 🙁

    @Mathilda: In Lower Saxony. As far as I researched, I can use Frischkäse instead, or?
